What are the Australian Bush Flower Essences?
Flower essences are natural vibrational remedies that come from flowers – rather like the morning dew that forms on petals, containing the ‘essence’ of the flower. In this case the flowers are those of the Australian Bush, but there are other flower essences such as the Bach remedies pioneered by Dr Edward Bach in England in the 1930s.

There are over 60 Australian Bush Flower Essences. I select the most relevant ones for each client and make up a combination remedy based on the client’s physical, mental and emotional needs.

taking the essences

To take the essence, first tap the bottle 7 times, then put 7 drops under your tongue. It is usual to take the essences twice a day, first thing in the morning and last thing at night - although they can be taken more often if you feel the need to do so. You cannot overdose on essences. They are also self-adjusting, which means that they won’t take you anywhere you are not ready to go.



how to care for your essences

Essences are quite robust – they are a natural living vibration. However they are sensitive to electromagnetic radiation and can be affected by electromagnetic fields if left there for any length of time, so do not keep your essences close to any electronic equipment such as

- a mobile phone that is switched on
- a computer
- a TV

Keep the bottle out of direct sunlight and extreme heat.

When traveling by air, insist that your essences do not go through the X-ray machine. The airport staff may tell you that there’s more radiation when you’re flying than in the X-ray machine – that’s true, but the conveyor belt on the X-ray machine also creates a strong electromagnetic field, so best to avoid it.

For radiation exposure, travel with Electro Essence or Travel Essence, both of which contain essences that help protect against radiation.

Personally I have found that if I say the essences are homeopathic remedies, the airport staff seem to understand and there is no problem at all – whereas flower essences seem to be a bit more of an unknown quantity to them. I have only once been asked to take a few drops of the essences I was carrying through, no doubt to prove that they weren’t something highly dangerous!

Unlike homeopathic remedies, essences cannot be antidoted by coffee, toothpaste, garlic and so on.
